Wearable art!
A very special design passed down from generations of family; the "wichahpi" or 8 point star is embedded deep into the Lakota Sioux traditions and is seen in jewelry, rugs, furniture, and more.
The 8 point star is known to resemble: honor, curiosity, hope, and guidance.
I used the brick stitch to attach on a sterling silver triangle frame. Myuki glass seed beads create the fringe and I have added turquoise/sterling silver teardrops as a focal.
Finished on sterling silver ear hooks.
