This listing is for one of our amazing Mokume Gane rings! This ring is basically a Damascus ring, but with very different types of metal used in the forging process. We love how they look like "normal" rings, but then you look closer and realize its anything but normal! These rings are difficult to forge, difficult to obtain and the materials are very expensive. For this reason it is one of our more "luxury" type of rings. We have a limited supply of this material so if you're interested order today! These make fantastic wedding rings or everyday wear rings because they are gold in appearance but have wayyy more character!!
*An important note on the Mokume Gane material, if you haven't done much research on it, is that due to it being made with copper blended into the ring, it will react with your skin wherever it touches the ring. Since this ring comes with a titanium liner however, any marking is minimal and the titanium adds a lot of comfort to the ring! In my opinion this is one of our absolute best rings!
Mokume is our weakest material out of our lineup of rings, but is still much more durable than a lot of competitive rings out there. The ring will oxidize over time, which will make the pattern in the ring much more defined. This makes the ring even more unique and awesome! If at any point your ring becomes too oxidized or you get a lot of scratches on it then just let us know and we can fix it up like new again!
We aim to create a very open and customizable ring buying experience so if there is something different that you would like us to do with your ring, please just email us and let us know and we will get back to you promptly. Because these rings are custom made for each individual, we recommend that you get your finger professionally sized at a jewelry store before ordering. If you order a size too big you will be required to order a liner at full price to add to the ring so that we can size the ring down for you. If you order a size too small we would be able to size it larger for your, however this takes more time so we HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING PROFESSIONALLY SIZED BEFORE ORDERING. We take great pride in making these rings by hand for each customer and we stand by our products. Please note that due to the nature of these materials, no two rings will look 100% identical to each other, or the pictures in these ads. That being said, we try to get them as close to the representative pictures as possible. Since all of our rings are custom orders we will not be able to accept returns on custom rings, unless there is some sort of provable defect in the item. We are a small shop and our lead times will vary between 3-6 weeks, we will attempt to keep you well updated with the progress on your ring while we're making it, and if desired we can periodically send pictures as well.
